Riedel's glasses are simply second to none. The Riedel story began in Bohemia in 1756. Since that date they have been producing the finest glasses. It was in the late 1950's that Claus Riedel realised that the shape of the glass had a direct impact on the bouquet, taste and balance of the wine contained therein.

In 1973 Riedel launched their Sommeliers range which tranformed the art of drinking wine. These are hand made and mouth blown and still unmatched.

In 1986 a machine made range called Vinum were introduced and were based on the individual grape varieties characteristics.

Most recently Riedel have released the O range below - these are the same bowls as the machine made Vinum glasses but without the stems! They are brilliant.
